I’m a proud mother of three grown sons and wife to my husband of thirty years. I'm a midwestern native, but consider San Diego my home. I enjoy watching foreign films, traveling, and musical theater. I find joy in new experiences and consider myself a lifelong learner.

My parents were both educators, and my mom owned a preschool when I was young. Volunteering at my mom’s school as a child is where I developed a love for early childhood education. My career began as a preschool teacher, but I was promoted quickly to a leadership position and have been in one since. I’ve worked in a variety of educational environments all around the world. 

My superpower is helping individuals and organizations feel competent and confident as they navigate transitions toward growth and improvements.

It was my college nickname and it stayed with me ever since.

People call me Nate.
